I bought a Olympus Pen EE half frame camera recently and finally got to take it out on Saturday last week for a test spin.
The South Bank is one of my favourite places in London, so it made sense to take some photos there to test how well the new camera handles itself and well, to be honest, to see if it works at all. I had some Fuji NPZ800 in the fridge to put through it. Not my first preference to test out a new camera, but lo and behold the photos turned out pretty good. Two of my favourites are below.
I really enjoyed thinking outside the box using this camera. I was having to rack my brain what to pair up and compose in the one frame where I can squeeze two photos in now. I'm certainly going to take this little Japanese beauty out again, possibly tomorrow. I bought a lot of film, both colour and b&w for it already. And having a new scanner that I can scan negs with helps loads. :)
